2023 Rep & Select Coach Application is Now Open

Program Information:
Our tier 1 teams from ages 8U to 14U,22U play in the COBA AAA loop and our tier 2 teams from ages 10U to 18U play in the COBA AA loop. The COBA league schedule consists of approximately 24 games, over a 16-week period starting early May ending mid August.
Both tier 1 and 2 teams usually play in 5-8 weekend tournaments throughout the summer, with some of them being travel / overnight tournaments. There are also additional COBA Playoff Tournaments in late August, which determine the cities that represent COBA in the annual Provincial tournament on Labour Day Weekend.
Most Brampton Royals Rep teams practice 2-4 times per week during the indoor off season from October to April, including at least once a week at the BMBI owned Upper Deck Baseball Academy indoor facility from January-April.
Interview Process
Interviews may be requested by the Coaching Selection Committee. Coaching staffs will be chosen by the managers following tryouts. The selection committee reserves the right to refuse any coach or application.
Special Note to Applicant: All Coaches, Managers and Staff must have achieved a minimum of N.C.C.P. level needed to coach at the Elimination tournaments and national championships by March 31, 2023. Consideration may be given to applicants who indicate intent to acquire the appropriate coaching certification. Applicants must not be under any suspension from any association in North America. Coaches, Managers and staff will require a background check, if a recent one is not already on file with BMBI.
