It is with a heavy heart that BMBI announces the passing of long time volunteer Scott Huntley.  Scott passed away at his home peacefully on September 9th.  His family used this photograph on the announcement page (https://newediukfuneralhome.com/book-of-memories/5020796/Huntley-Scott/index.php)

of his passing and we find it perfect.  Pictured with Scott is his long time best friend Tyson, who was a fixture with Scott at diamonds and our equipment facility in recent years.

Scott volunteered with BMBI for 25 years in many capacities, including Coach, VP or Rep, Excecutive Committee member, Registrar, Treasurer, and most recently VP of Equipment.  He was a cost accountant by profession, which made him detailed and meticulous, which served BMBI so well.  In recent years Scott was also a Board member of our regional affiliate, Central Ontario Baseball Association, and was the Chair of its Release Committee, as well as Registrar.

He will be missed, but dearly remembered.  His passion for the game and the organizations he volunteered for, were unsurmountable.

Rest in peace Scott.

Yours in baseball,

Frank Fascia

President, BMBI
